SINGING OUR FUTURES is an initiative supported by the Archie Roach Foundation. It's a First Nations music mentoring program dedicated to discovering, nurturing and championing the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

Led by award-winning First Nations singer-songwriter and music producer Candice Lorrae, the program provides emerging artists with the opportunity to develop their craft, find their sound and build meaningful pathways into the Australian music industry.

​

Through songwriting, professional recording, live performance and one-on-one mentorship, participants are connected with some of Australia's most respected First Nations artists, producers and music industry professionals, gaining invaluable experience, creative guidance and industry connections.

​

Based at Candy Suite Studio's, Singing Our Futures has grown into an independent, artist-led initiative, continuing Uncle Archie's vision of empowering First Nations voices through music and storytelling.

More than mentorship, Singing Our Futures is about creating opportunities, building lasting connections and ensuring the next generation of First Nations music is heard, celebrated and supported.
